Petition Process
Once the petition has been drafted, (normally within 24-48 business hours), it will be delivered to you via email or cloud drive in in the format of the bankruptcy software that you use, to review at your leisure. We will make and adjustments or revisions needed upon request. Once you have approved the bankruptcy petition, we can optionally electronically file the bankruptcy petition via ECF for you, as well as deliver a Proof of Filing and a copy of the filed petition to your client(s).
Precise Petitions has no setup fees, nor is there any pre-payment for services required. Payment is not due until after you have approved the bankruptcy petition we have prepared for you.
We know that once you give us a try, you will be thrilled with the quality and consistency of our work, and the time and cost savings benefits for your law firm. You can get your life back!
STEP 1
Complete the Client Intake Form (CIF) by downloading our FREE Client Intake Forms and have your very next bankruptcy client complete them in full. Do not allow them to leave any blanks. For best results, have the debtor(s) write “N/A” in any field that is “not applicable” or cross out sections that don’t apply. This ensures there is no missing information or unanswered questions.
STEP 2
Review and send us the Intake Forms. When your client(s) have fully completed the Client Intake Forms as previously described, and you have reviewed them for missing information, forward them to us along with the debtor(s)’:
1. Credit Counseling Certificate(s)
2. Paystubs or proof of income for the last six (6) FULL months
3. A summary of the case, a high-level overview and any other important details
STEP 3
Finalize: A bankruptcy specialist from our office will contact you to briefly review the case before drafting the bankruptcy petition.
